eDreams advantages


eDreams is an online travel agency founded in March 1999 that offers in their page different tourism services as flights, hotels, vacation packages, train tickets, car rentals... around the world. The website can be visited in 5 languages.

The company’s headquarters is in Barcelona, Spain with branch in Milan, Italy.
Despite the crisis, eDreams has grown considerably in the last years and has increased its profit.
The fact of not having physical offices allows offer really competitive prices, to be less cost structure without reducing the quality of service.

Booking Vs. Expedia

We want to know if we also get more profitable for one night in a hotel in booking  or in Expedia, and we've found!

In Subur Sitges hotel we found a double room for Valentine dates.
On booking we get the room for 129 and expedia we get for 54 . This means that we would have more profitably by expedia. But thanks to the offers that they would offer us the room at one of these two pages costs 44.26€.





Booking has a condition that says: "How? 'Another website offers a lower price? Match it ". This is granted if the reservation is the same with the same conditions. We believe that booking has reduced the price by this condition.
                      



The negotiations with hoteliers
